Vintage FestivalThe Summer is winding down and Fall is coming up fast. This of course means something very important to the motorcycle enthusiast in the Mid-south area. The Annual Vintage Festival at Barber Motorsports Park is coming soon! In three weeks from today, October 7th through the 9th, this annual festival of vintage motorcycle goodness will be happening just three short hours south of Nashville.

Now in its 12th year the Vintage Festival at Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds, Alabama (just outside of Birmingham) has been growing and is one of the largest events of its kind in the United States.  The three-day festival features the Ace Corner, a century parade, a swap meet with hundreds of vendors, wall of death, globe of death and more!

Racing of several kinds will be going on during the event with off-road and road racing happening including my personal favorite, sidecar racing! When you’re not watching the races there is the huge swap meet and the Barber Motorcycle Museum which can each take a day on their own to check out.

We’ve been covering this event for the past several years as Nashvilleriders.com and it is always a blast and the weekend is never long enough to see everything. Plan on coming down early and staying to the last minute!
